I'll be leading this Saturday's Survivor Trip, and I'm looking forward to meeting you all and enjoying a safe and fun drive together.
Saturday 31 October 2026 we will be conducting a Survivor Trip at Saad Area.
Ready to take your vehicle off the pavement and onto the sand? This drive is specifically dedicated to our newcomers and beginners!
If you want to learn the basics of desert driving in a supportive, zero-pressure environment, this is the perfect trip for you.
What to Expect:
• Smooth & Relaxing: The route is designed to be a gentle introduction to the dunes, letting you cruise at a comfortable pace.
• Easy to Slightly Challenging: Most of the drive will be an easy breeze, but we will introduce a few slightly challenging areas. Don't worry these spots are safely chosen to help you understand your vehicle's capabilities and build your confidence!
• Skill Building: You will learn how your 4x4 handles on the sand, how to manage your momentum, and the basic rules of desert driving.
Our experienced members will be there to guide, support, and assist everyone throughout the entire route. Let's get together, learn something new, and have a relaxing day out in the dunes!
Meeting time 06:50 AM – We move to desert 7:10AM (Drive will last for around 3 hours if all goes well, if you have commitments better cancel it, we can't promise anything). Please arrive earlier to deflate your tires and get ready.

Things to bring for the drive (no exceptions):
1. Radio – Essential for continuous communication with other drivers especially lead and sweeper to ensure your Safety and the Safety of others.
2. Flag - For the Safety reasons

4. 4x4 Vehicles only Make sure you have enough fuel for the drive and your car is mechanically in good condition.
VERY IMPORTANT: KINDLY REMEMBER: In desert anything can happen, and Safety is priority!!
Do not bring any liquid/substance that is against KSA law! WE DO NOT SUPPORT SUCH BEHAVIOUR!
Bring your own chairs, tables, snacks, fluids, and other items that you might require if planning to camp.
Note:
Trip leader reserves his right to excuse any member from the trip due to any disrespectful behavior or over exposure of any habits that are not community friendly.
All Redfox drives is entirely at the participant's own risk and should accept full responsibility for any incidents or outcomes, with no liability attributed to any other party.
